Chapter Six

After their explosive lovemaking and the incredible introduction to bondage, Kaden was emotionally and physically exhausted. He’d just never realized how hot it was going to be, making love the devastating way that Rokuro had done earlier, and the playroom experience had been amazing. His body ached from being stretched and tied to the cross and there were places where the wand had touched his skin that were very sensitive when his shirt rubbed over him, even now, hours after the scene. What had really shocked Kaden was the way Rokuro treated him after leaving the playroom. He’d taken him back to the room, climbed into the shower with him and washed him gently, kissing him deeply and making him feel cherished. Kaden had never had that kind of experience with a lover before. He was always only too happy to get rid of them as soon as he finished climaxing. Being held that way, and then being tucked into bed for a good long nap, felt heavenly to Kaden.

As he got out of bed, his stomach began to growl. He left the room and headed for the kitchen, deciding that he needed to make himself a sandwich. As he approached the open door, he heard voices so he stopped. It wasn’t Kaden’s nature to snoop but something in the tone of one of the voices caught his attention.

“I loved that place we went that has the great pizza,” the young voice said. Kaden thought he recognized him as the boy called Trick that he’d met in the hall.

“We’ll go there, love. As soon as I finish up the next playroom scene, I’ll take you out,” another voice said.

“You have another scene today, Phoenix?” Trick asked. Kaden could hear the shaky sorrow in the boy’s voice, though he tried hard to hide it. Kaden was very perceptive when it came to the emotions of vulnerable young men. His thoughts intruded for a moment and anger at the older Dom filled his mind. He clenched his fists to keep himself from rushing in and decking the guy and then suddenly he heard a tiny moan and he realized that the men were kissing. The rustle of clothing came next and he turned to leave, not wanting to hear them having sex.

“I promised Jimmy that I would fill in for him. Vesper double booked him and he’s busy in another playroom,” Phoenix said. Kaden stopped, forcing himself to listen to the kid’s response. He didn’t know why he was so angry at Phoenix. He just thought that a kid like that needed someone loyal, and Kaden had no idea where the thought came from. He didn’t know Trick from the next guy but something about the boy had touched him the minute they met.

“Okay, Phoenix,” the boy said quietly. “It’s okay, I’ll be in my room. There’s a book that I just uploaded to the Kindle anyway. The Farmer’s Son by GA Hauser. I’ve wanted to read it. You know how much I love her stuff.
